About the class
In an Awareness Through Movement class (ATM) the teacher guides you through a series of movement sequences, allowing you the time to sense how you move. You are able to discover easier and more efficient ways to move. ATM classes improve your awareness and quality of movement through your body’s feedback.
Some classes are done lying down on your mat, sometimes sitting in chairs, and occasionally we do classes standing and walking. You will need to be able to get up and down from the floor independently. Our ability to learn each and every day is a uniquely human trait and one that is fundamental to the Feldenkrais Method. To look at the world with the innocent and very curious eyes of a youngster does not have to be lost to us as we mature. About the teacher
Jenny D’Cruz has been teaching Awareness Through Movement classes since 2015 and has also been educating clients on how to move with more ease and efficiency with her work as a Physiotherapist. Jenny has worked in Community Physiotherapy, tertiary hospitals, and private practice across a variety of areas of health for over 25 years.
Cost: Casual attendance $28 per class / 8 Class Pass $200 / 5 Class Pass $125
